CHAIRMAN

Ihekweazu is the current chairman of Financial and Analytics Capital Limited. He is also the Principal Solicitor and Managing Attorney for CHIKWEM CHAMBERS (C.V.C IHEKWEAZU & CO.) where he is responsible for setting up and driving the Firm’s legal business in Nigeria, overseeing strategy, deal origination, and executions for several Financial Institutions and other corporate Clients. He has also served as a Legal Retainer to several companies.

Ihekweazu holds a Masters Degree in Law from the University of Lagos and an LLB in Law from Rivers State University after obtaining a B. A Degree in English from the University of Calabar.  He is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Arbitrators of Nigeria, a Fellow of the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria, a Member of the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals, and Securities and Exchange Capital Market Committee.

He has written several publications for the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

He has participated in several research for The World Bank amongst which is the ‘Doing Business in Nigeria’ series. Mr Ihekweazu is a member of the Training faculty for the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, ICAN as well as BRIPAN. He is the current President and Chair of the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN) He is passionate about cycling, golf, and tennis and enjoys mentoring, reading, and volunteering. He is a member of the Ikoyi Club 1938 and Government College Umuahia Old Boys Association. Mr Ihekweazu is married with Children.
