John Upan Odey (HCIB) is a financial expert with over 20 years in banking covering stints at defunct Afribank, Ecobank, Standard Chartered Bank, Union Bank, and First Trust Mortgage Bank Plc. His experience spans banking operations, relationship management, wealth management, private banking, retail banking, consumer banking, commercial banking, credit, and risk management.

John holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Uyo and an MBA from the University of Ilorin as well as a certificate from the Harvard Kennedy School. He is an Honorary member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Management.
